Alyssa, a good friend and co-worker of mine, took a plain pair of white Tom's and made them awesome. Check it out. Oh, and if you aren't familiar with Tom's shoes, you should really check them out. For EVERY pair of shoes you buy, Tom's donates a pair to a child in need. It's pretty great.

no more lusting after high tops

i couldn't afford the Supra shoes i blogged about yesterday, so this morning i went to Platos's Closet to try and find a substitute. and i got THESE!! at $13, i think they are a pretty good substitute to the grey ones. and more feminine too.  i love them. and i got these new *obscenely* short shorts, at Plato's also, for $10, and the Victoria's Secret Pink shirt at the mall yesterday. I love back-to-school shopping. i just with it didn't come with that pesky "back-to-school" part..

i'm kind of in love with these shoes, but i'm not sure why. i know they're hiddeous, and they're $90, but for whatever reason, I'm kind of infatuated with them. they're not at all my style- a little on the tom-boyish side. and they're skate shoes and i cant skate. but i love them. i want them. so bad.
