hangers

i made some wire wrapped hangers today. (check out my tutorial here) I could see the fun fall colors of yarn through the clear plastic storage container in my closet, and it was just calling to me today. *maaaake sooomething!!* So I did. :) Sorry for the crappy photo quality.. I hung these on my bullitin board so I could get all 3 in one shot.

Snail Mail Excitement!

I got my first Dear Darlings Penpal letter yesterday! :) It's from Jaymie of All that Glitters. I so love getting mail! The stationary she used was just ADORABLE. Godda love those owls! =D

I noticed I haven't made anything in a while. I hate that. A few months back, I bought some yarn with the intention of making something over the summer that would be warm for fall. Well today I started knitting. I haven't got much accomplished yet, but I will. I'll show you pictures once I get farther along.

I just got back from the movies. My best friend and I saw Eat Pray Love. Honestly, I don't think the movie lived up to the book. I know they rarely do, but still. It was great, don't get me wrong, but I think the book was much much better. If you haven't read it yet, you should! :-P

cats of all sizes can't resist!

uum ok, its not secret that I love my cats to pieces. They're my babies. I saw this video and I thought I'd share. :) It's a tiger, a jaguar, and a lynx, a panther, and an ocelot freaking out over catnip. But the lion wasn't a fan. >_< hehe cute. *note, kinda boring to sit and watch all the way through, but totally worth at least clicking through to see the different cats.* :)

and this is my cat, Orion. He loves his fresh nip. AND I LOVE HIM! EEEEEEEE!! *cuddles*

1) I'm one of those people who are cold all the time. I hate air conditioning.

2) I would love to have a pet skunk one day.

5) I have a phobia of driving places that I'm not familiar. I really can't do it unless someone is in the car with me. Even then, I freak out. I hate this about myself.
6) I'm a vegetarian because I love animals sooo much. I want a pet chicken too.
7) When I was 15, I got sent to the Principal's office because the same teacher caught me and my boyfriend making out three times in on the same day. When I got back to class, my a-hole physics teacher teased me about it until I cried.

In other news, I was 10 days late registering my classes for fall quarter.. (i thought registration started on the 15th, not the first..) so needless to say, ALL THE CLASSES WERE FULL!.. I had to register for the bottom-of-the-barrel, oh-God-please-no-not-that, kind of classes.. like a drawing class at 8 in the morning that lasts until noon, and a class on the history of mideval Europe.. *kill me* lol  I'm going to keep checking back to see if there's any openings. Cause I'm really REALLY not looking forward to fall quarter. I'm all about learning new things, but I think this will be torture. gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaugh!!... this is gunna suuck.. :-P All I can do is laugh and shake my head.

Also, I just now overheard my mom is on the phone telling my dad, "Did you know that a spider is not an insect? And neither in an earthworm! An insect is something that has 6 legs. Did you know that, Larry? I learned something new today." ..I can only imagine my dad's response..

Pretty

I saw this in the back of the Free People catalog. I loved it so much, I tore it out and taped it to my bedroom wall.

I sent out my first letters to my Dear Darlings penpals yesterday! :) It was super fun knowing that I'll be making friends in California, Canada, and the UK! :D

And then last night I got home to find that I got mail from Kellie from Green Tea and Red Nails. She sent me some adorable handmade envelopes and labels. So cute!
