rainy days in may

i hate the rain. i feel like a wet dog. but i think if there were no more rain (other than the fact that life of earth would cease to exist..) i think i would miss wearing my rain boots and carrying around my cute umbrellas.

new to etsy today

i photographed a bunch of my jewelry this morning but only had time to list two of them: Sunshine and Wheatfields Necklace, and Nature's Wonders Statement Necklace. im really looking forward to listing my citrus and ginger soap and my lavender oatmeal soap!! all in good time.

someday ill have such a big yard..

someday ill have such a big yard that ill have a huge garden and an outdoor shower. i just saw this on designsponge and thought it was adorable. makes me all lusty for the future- you know, when i can spend all day gardening, and knitting, and painting, and showering outside, and my future man will bring home the bacon so i dont have to.. yeah, someday.

may 15th

today i had to open at work in the fabric department, which is actually really great because that shift goes by pretty fast. after work i bought some tall grass (like 6 or 7 foot) to decorate the booth with. a coworer gave me some free aloe plants, which is AWESOME! :) so i potted them as soon as i got home. and i also ate (too much) and made some jewelry. im looking forward to photographing them tomorrow morning and getting some new stuff up on the ol etsy! :P
